 Shape Tracing Overlay

Students chose a shape to trace several times, then colored in the spaces and cut along the outside line. For mounting, they were asked to choose a background color that was present in their design.

Purple Collages

Students created these collages after a read aloud of Harold and the Purple Crayon and a discussion about using our imaginations, They chose one shade of purple and a white or black background.

Face Collages

For these faces, students are encouraged to use lots of different colors. No brown or pink are available for the head shape, and they need to include all facial features.
