Pop Art Hearts

Students got inspiration from artist Jim Dine, who created many heart compositions. Students used two primary colors of tempera paint and we asked to make each heart different from all the others (including anyone else's).

Fall Leaf Overlay

For these colorful fall leaf-inspired paintings, overlapping leaf shapes were traced onto paper using a variety of different leaf-shaped templates, then the spaces were painted with watercolor.
